DESCRIPTION
Slate is formed from ocean sediments and is easily split into thin sheets that are incredibly durable because of their low absorption of water. When used as a roofing material, slate is virtually maintenance free. Slate tiles may also be used as attractive and durable interior and exterior flooring, stairs, walkways, and wall cladding.
